Convenience Tools ("we", "us", or "our") built MoneyDrain as a freemium app. This page explains what information is involved when you use our app, where it goes, and how it is protected.

MoneyDrain is a manual subscription tracker. Everything you type stays on your device — it is never transmitted to our servers. This includes:
This data is stored in your device's local storage (AsyncStorage). If you delete the app, all of this data is deleted with it.

The only external data flow in MoneyDrain is through RevenueCat, which we use to manage in-app purchases and premium entitlements. RevenueCat is contacted when you:
RevenueCat may receive a device identifier, app store receipt data, and purchase history. Your subscription data (e.g. Netflix, Spotify) is never sent to RevenueCat — only the information needed to verify your purchase entitlement.

There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, no ad tracking, and no backend server. The only network calls the app makes are RevenueCat purchase checks.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties, except for RevenueCat as described in Section 4, which is necessary to operate the premium features of the app.

Because MoneyDrain stores all subscription data locally on your device, you can exercise most of these rights simply by deleting the app. For data held by RevenueCat (purchase history), you may contact them directly via their privacy policy. For any other requests, contact us at the email below.
MoneyDrain is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has used the app, you can remove all local data by deleting the app from the device.
Because all subscription data remains on your device, its security depends on your device's own security measures. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your operating system up to date. Purchase data handled by RevenueCat is protected according to their own security standards.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
